How does art change when women are no longer the object of depiction, but the subject of expression?
In this exhibition Dorothy Iannone, Niki de Saint Phalle and Sarah Pucci offer their own distinct and deeply personal answers to this question. Their works explore female desire, corporeality and self-empowerment, while they also raise questions about visibility, modes of expression and the standards of the art world.

More than 70 works offer a comprehensive insight into the artistic work of Dorothy Iannone, Niki de Saint Phalle, and Sarah Pucci.

Curated by Talia Kim Walther from Hamburg, the exhibition invites visitors to rediscover the work of three influential artists in the context of their time, while also engaging with current social debates. With narrative power, vibrant colors, and a distinct voice, Iannone, Saint Phalle, and Pucci merge personal experience with social reflection. Their works celebrate diversity, self-determination, and artistic freedom, offering new perspectives on female forms of expression in art.
