    Children and young people up to 16 years of age accompanied by their parents, tour guides from the city of Herford.

    A2 Hanover – Dortmund: to the Herford/Bad Salzuflen exit, B239 towards Herford, exit Zentrum, left onto Bielefelder Straße, after 1 km left onto Wittekindstraße, straight on Bahnhofstraße and Bahnhofsplatz, right onto Fürstenaustraße, roundabout 2nd exit onto Goebenstraße

    A30 Osnabrück – Bad Oeynhausen: to the Hiddenhausen exit, follow towards Herford, Bünder Straße, after 5 km turn left, then turn right onto Goebenstraße

    By train

    Herford is an IC/ICE train station. The walk to the museum takes only about 3 minutes (approx. 300 m): From the station forecourt follow Fürstenaustraße on the left, Continue straight on Goebenstraße

  • Parking garage Elsbach Areal

  • The exhibition and visitor rooms are located on the ground floor.

    Toilets suitable for disabled people are available on the ground floor.

    Access is possible via a wheelchair lift.
